Eigenwerbung
Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday, dear ego, Happy Birthday to me.
*schauder*
Wird endlich Zeit für die erste Million.

Andy's recovered
Finally! Andy has recovered from the dark side of music and seems to finally be listening to *good music* again.
That's even worth a single blog entry.

Credit card signing in an artistic way

An article about How crazy would I have to make my signature before someone would actually notice?. The author complains about him signing credits card with any random signature without facing any problems.Wicked thing. Those are the times where I feel lucky to not possess any credit card. A very funny article to read!

E-Plus offers GPRS-Flatrate for new PDA
Finally! Heise Mobile reports about a new PDA which will be offered for the german mobile-communications provider E-Plus.
This is the first step towards kicking UMTS out of business. A flatrate-GPRS service for usual cellphones would really kick ass, I would even seriously think about paying 20 Euro a month. Now their PDA isn't really what I'm needing and not looking that good:

I guess I'll have to wait for some serious PDA with all that funky gadgets from today and then be able to really surf wireless with my Notebook from all around. As long as WLAN isn't widespread (and cheap) in germany, that seems to be the only alternative.
I'm curious about what Andy will say about this, as we're both already E-Plus customers and using their GPRS-contract.

Flash: Prince of Persia

While I was walking around a little park in London, I suddenly got a call to my mobile phone. As no caller-id was transmitted, I thought it could be something important and decided to answer the call. As with international roaming calls, I have to pay for any call form germany to my mobile actually, so this was really a decision I had to make.
But guess what call I got? Some recorded voice telling me in german, that I have to take advantage of that GREAT NEW internet community by E-Plus, where I could - and that was exactly where I immediatly hung up the call. This really got me started, so I was thinking about what just happened. Has SPAM already advanced that much, that great (in a sense of 'huge', not 'good') companies use that? I have never ever received a advertisement-only call to get me into buying or visiting anything! And I never expected my first spam-call to be even a recorded one! Holy Zeus!

Flash: 3d-styled Page
It's really a visually great looking site with nice effects. Even though loading takes *ages* in highband-mode even on DSL. So don't try this at ISDN-home, kids! Still the time is worth waiting for.
